Shown is an 1807MoTH half real, one of a type struck for Mexico 1792-1808. The bust of Charles IV was superseded by the "imaginary bust" of Ferdinand VII (used because Ferdinand was rotting in a French prison) during 1808. Assayer TH is recorded for the years 1804-10.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specification: 1.69 g, 0.896 fine silver, .048 troy oz ASW.
