This specimen was lot 908 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "LÜBECK: Free Hanseatic City, AR 2 mark, 1907-A, an attractive proof quality example, PCGS graded Proof 62, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This type was struck 1904-07, 1911-12. It is scarce.
Recorded mintage: 25,000 plus proofs.
Specification: 11.11 g, 0.900 fine silver, 28 mm diameter, reeded edge.
