This specimen was lot 2542 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$216 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY | Königreich, Napoleone I. 1805-1814. 2 Lire 1812 M, Milano. Rare in this condition. Good extremely fine. Some die flaws and tiny scratch." This coin was struck in Milan for Napoleon's kingdom of Italy which lasted 1804-1814. The two lire piece matched the French silver two francs and was struck in some numbers 1807-14 at Milan, Venice and Bologna.
