This specimen was lot 71077 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Rupee, 1906-B. Bombay Mint. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. A striking example with full silvery mint brilliance. A positive addition to any collection." The rupees of Edward VII were struck 1903-10 and most dates are common. Proofs are rare. The Calcutta mint contributed another 104,797,000.
