Künker Auction 439, lot 2298

This specimen was lot 2298 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,900 (about US$2,614 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1750 KB, Kremnitz. GOLD. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, ducat of 1750, Kremnitz mint. Extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1746-65 and is counted as common. The auctioneers listed it under Austria but it was made in Hungary and that is where we will file it.
