This specimen was lot 3841 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,575 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1751, Kremnitz. GOLD. Feine Goldtönung, fast vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, ducat of 1751, Kremnitz mint. Fine gold toning, about extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1746-65 and is counted as common. The auctioneers listed it under Austria but it was made in Hungary and that is where we will file it.
