This specimen was lot 45384 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $1,050. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONDURAS. Peso, 1903. Tegucigalpa Mint. NGC AU-58. Variety with flat-top '3'." This type was struck 1883-95, 1899, 1902-04 and 1914. The mint's struggle with obsolete equipment is evidenced by the many overdates and varieties noted in the series.
