This specimen was part of lot 5226 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €400 (about US$517 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, AB 1692 KURFÜRSTENTUM HANNOVER, Georg III. 1760-1820. 2/3 Taler 1800, Clausthal. Dazu: 2/3 Taler 1801 (Jahreszahl im Stempel aus 1800 geändert), Hannover. Welter 2808, 2814. 2 Stück., Vorzüglich und feine Patina, vorzüglich. (electorate of Hannover, George III, 1760-1820, two-thirds thaler of 1800, Clausthal mint. Included is a two-thirds thaler of 1801. Two pieces, extremely fine and toned extremely fine.)"
