The first specimen was lot 5219 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €650 (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, AB 1692 KURFÜRSTENTUM HANNOVER, Georg III. 1760-1820. Reichstaler 1767, Clausthal. Ausbeute der Grube St. Andreas. Feine Patina, vorzüglich. (electorate of Hannover, George III, 1760-1820, thaler of 1767, Clausthal mint, for the St. Andrew mine. Fine patina, extremely fine.)"

The second specimen was lot 1119 in Goldberg Sale 139 (Los Angeles, June 2024), where it sold for $528. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Brunswick-Lüneburg. Taler, 1767. George III, of England. Crowned arms. Reverse: St. Andrew with cross. Toned. Pop 2; 1 in 61; 1 in 62; 1 in 64. NGC graded AU-58. Ex Goldberg Sale 47, May 25, 2008, lot 2525. The Peh Collection Part II." This "St. Andrew" thaler was struck 1761-73 and is moderately priced.
