A very well produced Wild Man with intricate engraving detail and ample striking pressure to bring up intricacies across the obverse. Silver gray surfaces show tinges of amber color near the legends while satin brilliance is quick to catch the light at most every angle. A truly excellent example of the type that, being the 'top pop,' is undoubtedly earmarked for one of the finest German cabinets being assembled. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection."
