This specimen was lot 41359 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $552. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. Taler, 1723-EPH. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg Ludwig (George I of Great Britain). PCGS AU-58. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1716-27 with the elector's new title of king of England and is a slightly better type.
