H3067-34418r.jpg

This specimen was lot 34418 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Elizabeth II silver Proof 500 Pounds (Kilo) 2013 PR70 Ultra Cameo NGC, Royal mint. A coin of gleaming perfection commemorating the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation, one of the first 150 struck, which comes with original mint display case and COA #36." This denomination has been used only a few times (KM 1235, 1243, 1265, 1274, 1329) to issue NCLT's in silver and gold. The substantial size and face value (US$612 in May 2022) of these monsters limits the number of buyers.

Recorded mintage: unknown but at least 150.

Specification: 1000 g, 0.999 fine silver, 32.11 troy oz ASW, 100 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 1265.
