Sincona sale 86, lot 1809

This specimen was lot 1809 in Sincona sale 86 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 8,500 CHF (about US$11,446 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Elizabeth II. 1952-2022. Proof 10 Pounds 2013, Royal Mint Llantrisant. 156.30 g. Gold. Celebrating the Diamond Jubilee (60th anniversary of the coronation) of Queen Elizabeth II. Spink M2. Sehr selten. Nur 74 Exemplare geprägt, Mit Originaletui und Zertifikat, Very rare. Only 74 pieces struck. NGC PF67 ULTRA CAMEO. With original box and certificate. No. 32 of 74 limited edition presentation sets."

The SCWC lists this design in silver (KM 1264) but not in gold. Other ten pound coins for 2013 include KM 1268 (silver Britannia) and KM 1270 (gold Britannia)

Recorded mintage: 74 in gold plus unknown in silver.

Specification: 155.5 g, 0.999 fine silver, or 155.5 g, 0.999 fine gold, 65 mm diameter.
