This specimen was lot 32595 in Heritage Sale 3115 (Chicago, May 2024), where it sold for $7,225.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Elizabeth II gold Proof "Diamond Jubilee" 5 Pounds 2012 PR70 Ultra Cameo NGC." This is not the five pounds commemorating the queen's diamond jubilee (KM 1216) but the five pounds with the St. George and the dragon reverse. Paul Day's reverse was not popular and the issue reverted to Pistrucci's design in 2014 (KM 1003.1).
