This specimen was lot 1900 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $78. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. 3 Pence, 1675. Charles II. NGC graded About Uncirculated Detail (Cleaned)." All the dated silver threepence of Charles II are of this type, which is common. It was issued 1670-84. Silver threepence were struck until the end of World War One and a few are still struck for the Maundy sets.
