This specimen was lot 56718 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Groat, ND (1638-42). Aberystwyth Mint; mm: Book. Charles I. NGC AU-58. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust left, wearing ruffled collar; plumes to left, IIII (mark of value) to right; Reverse: Garnished coat-of-arms. Sole finest certified of the type."
