This specimen was lot 41658 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 2 Pence, ND (1635-36). London Mint; mm: Crown/Crown. Charles I. NGC EF-40." The halfgroat was struck without date throughout the reign of Charles I. Only the mintmark gives any clue as to the period of manufacture.
