This specimen was lot 75313 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Third Reich. 2 Mark, 1934-J. Hamburg Mint. PCGS MS-63." This type was struck in 1934 to mark the first anniversary of Nazi rule. This is a scarcer mint.
Recorded mintage: 409,000 plus proofs.
Specification: 8 g, 0.625 fine silver, 25 mm diameter, reeded edge.
