Künker Auction 439, lot 2934

This specimen was lot 2934 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,651 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DRITTES REICH, 2 Reichsmark 1934 F. Garnisonkirche Potsdam mit Datum. Polierte Platte. Aus der Sammlung Jürgen und Erika Schmidt, Bovenden. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 315, Osnabrück 2018, Nr. 8812. (Germany, Third Reich, two mark of 1934, Potsdam Garrison Church with date, proof.)"

This type was struck in 1934 to mark the first anniversary of Nazi rule. This is a scarcer mint.
