This specimen was lot 78235 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Gelderland. Lion Dollar (Daalder), 1637. NGC AU-55." This variety was struck 1636-46. A earlier variety (KM 15.1) was struck 1606-38; it has a cross after "GEL". Leeuwendaalders were struck in Gelderland until 1700.
