This specimen was lot 889 in Jean Elsen price list 258 (Brussels, October 2011) where it was offered for €150 (about US$210). The catalog description noted,

"NEDERLAND, WEST-FRIESLAND, AR leeuwendaalder, 1637, Droit : Ridder rechtsom kijkend met voor zich wapen met klimmende leeuw. Revers : Klimmende leeuw l. Ref.: goede Zeer Fraai. (Netherlands, province of Westfriesland, silver lion daalder of 1637. Obverse: knight supports provincial arms; reverse: lion rampant. Good very fine.)"

Lion daalders were struck in most of the provinces that today make up the Netherlands. This type is recorded in the SCWC for Westfriesland with various mintmarks for 1606-1700.

Specification: 27.68 g, 0.750 fine silver, .667 troy oz ASW, this specimen 27,16 g.
