This specimen was lot 23633 in Heritage sale 3030 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,115. The catalog description[1] noted, "Frankfurt. Free City gold Ducat 1717-HF, MS61 PCGS, nicely toned and original with attractive details. Struck to mark the 200th anniversary of the Reformation with an all-seeing eye above the Bible. A scarce and historically important issue." This one year type is occasionally available.
