This specimen was lot 31069 in Heritage auction 3096 (Dallas, TX, March 2021), where it sold for $3,960. The catalog description[1] noted, "France: Republic gold Proof "Yves Saint Laurent" 500 Francs 2000 PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, Paris mint. A visually stunning commemorative issue celebrating Yves Saint Laurent, with an homage to popular motifs utilized by the famed French fashion designer. From the Paramount Collection."
