This specimen was struck for France at the Paris mint in 1993 to promote the Mediterranean Games. It accompanied the regular twenty francs of the Mont. St.-Michel type (KM 1008).

Recorded mintage: 5,000,011.

Specification: 9 g, aluminum bronze outer ring and center, nickel middle ring, 27 mm diameter.
