This specimen was from CGB sale 16. It is one of a type struck 1817-24 at eleven mints in France. Despite this, only 640,000 were produced over the type's eight year span and most dates are rare. This date is among the more common.
Recorded mintage: 35,840[1].
Specification: 1.25 g, 0.900 fine silver, 15 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by Auguste Michaut.
