This specimen was lot 39311 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Durango. 5 Centavos, 1914. PCGS MS-63." This denomination was struck in copper (most common), brass, lead and even copper-nickel. It is likely the local revolutionaries struck coins from whatever metal they could get their hands on.
