This specimen was lot 73146 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Durango. Centavo, 1914. PCGS VF-25." This denomination was struck in copper (most common), brass, lead and even copper-nickel. It is likely the local revolutionaries struck coins from whatever metal they could get their hands on.
