This type was struck 1915-16 for Christian X (1912-47) as king of Denmark. It is common as a type and was the last krone struck in silver. This specimen was lot 2450 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Christian X, 1912-1947, AR krone, 1916, KM-819, mintmaster initials VBP-AH, a superb mint state example! PCGS graded MS65+."

Specification: 7.5 g, 0.800 fine silver, 25 mm diameter.
