This specimen was lot 95 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$133 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DENMARK. Christian X. 1912-1947. 2 Kroner 1915, Kopenhagen. Vorzüglich-FDC. (kingdom of Denmark, Christian X, 1912-47, two kroner of 1915, Copenhagen mint. Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"

Danish currency endured several "reforms" in the nineteenth century. In 1874, the coinage was reformed again to the current system of 100 øre = one krone. This type of 1915-16 is the last regular issue two kroner in silver. Subsequent silver two kroner were all commemoratives.

Recorded mintage: 657,000.
