This specimen was lot 10233 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Copenhagen, June 2026), where it sold for €195.20 (about US$225). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 5 Øre, 1917-GJ/VBP. Copenhagen Mint. Christian X. NGC MS-66 Brown. Finest example registered in the NGC population census. Exquisite example in premium gem condition. From the L.E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1913-17 and most dates are common although the 1913 is scarce.
