This specimen was lot 22219 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $188. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 25 Ore, 1874-CS. PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder. Tied with only one other example at PCGS as the finest certified to date. Sharply struck with satin like tones and strong underlying luster." This type was struck 1874 and 1891. It is part of the reform of 1874 which decimalized Danish coinage, dropping the old skillings, rigsbankdalers and fredericks d'or.

Recorded mintage: 8,139,000.

Specification: 2.42 g, 0.600 fine silver.
