This specimen was lot 10263 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €312 (about US$325). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Mark, 1671-GK. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC EF Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." Frederick III died in 1670 and all the coinage was redesigned for his successor Christian V. This type was struck 1671 only with an ornate monogram; a similar two mark with a plain monogram (KM 329.2) was also struck in 1671. One krone was four mark or two-thirds speciedaler.
