This specimen was lot 10215 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €504 (about US$525). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1654. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC AU-50. Scarce die combination. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." One krone was four mark or two-thirds of a speciedaler. This monogram obverse and shield reverse was used with variations 1654-60.

Specification: 22.27 g, 0.671 fine silver, 42 mm diameter, this specimen 22.01 g.
