Frederik III. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details. Quite SCARCE and impressive, this crown retains solid overall detail and has begun to reacquire some color rather well. An excellent representative of the emission. From the Collection of Richard Evans Norton (1872-1946)." Danish crowns of the seventeenth century range from the scarce to the obscenely rare. Either they were melted extensively or the poverty of the king prevented large issues or both. This rare type was struck 1655-56.
