This specimen was lot 10200 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €408 (about US$425). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Skilling, 1650. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC AU-58. Lustrous coin. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This two skilling, struck 1648-51 in many varieties, has the reverse legend "NOR·VAN·GOTO·Q·REX", referring to Frederick's status as king crowned, not just king elect. It had a face value of 1/48 speciedaler.
