This specimen was lot 41035 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "CZECHOSLOVAKIA. 100 Korun, 1983. PCGS PROOF-68 Deep Cameo. Struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Karl Marx. From the Whytecliffe Collection." This specimen realized seven times the catalog value in proof. The SCWC notes, "23,793 pieces, Unc and Proof, were melted by the Czech National Bank in 1999."
Recorded mintage: 76,000 plus 4,000 proofs.
