This specimen was lot 45675 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 2 Centavos, 1919. Bogota Mint. NGC MS-66. The sole finest graded specimen certified by NGC." This two centavos was struck for Colombia in Philadelphia, of a type issued 1918-22, 1933-42, 1946-47. The earlier dates were struck at the Philadelphia mint, the later ones in Bogotá, leading to a flurry of repunched date varieties.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a better date.
