Sedwick sale 27, lot 881

This specimen was lot 881 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 27 (Winter Park, FL, May 2020), where it sold for $505.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Colombia (struck at the Denver mint), copper-nickel 2 centavos, 1920, NGC MS 63, finest and only example in NGC census. Deeply rainbow toned all over, with muted luster underlying, no wear, just a couple minor bagmarks. NGC #4770572-013." This type was struck 1918-21, 1933-38, 1941, 1946-48. This date was struck at the Denver mint. Later dates were minted at Bogota.

Recorded mintage: 3,655,000.
