This specimen was lot 45673 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 5 Centavos, 1922. Bogota Mint. NGC MS-64." This five centavos was struck for Colombia in Philadelphia, of a type issued 1918-24, 1933-41, 1946-50. This type overlaps the later copper liberty cap type issued 1942-79. The earlier dates were struck at the Philadelphia mint, the later ones in Bogotá, leading to a flurry of repunched date varieties.

Recorded mintage: 2,623,000 plus more from Heaton (1922-H).
