This type was struck 1823-29 and 1836 at Bogotá. This specimen was lot 12198 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $4,700. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 2 Escudo[s], 1836-RS. Bogotá Mint. NGC MS-63. Very scarce type and RARE in this high grade."
