This specimen was lot 44100 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,800. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1/4 Real, 1836-B RS. Bogota Mint. MS-64 (PCGS). Well centered and struck with very attractive russet to orange toning. Great eye appeal. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This issue from Bogotá with assayer RS was struck 1826-29, 1833-36. It was accompanied by a Popayán issue of 1826, 1832-36 (KM 85.3).
