Bogotá minted this type 1792-1804 only. All the dates are rare and generally found in low grade. The specimen shown was lot 1017 in Sedwick sale 11 (Winter Park, FL, April 2011), where it sold for $1,150.
The catalog description[1] noted,
"Bogotá, Colombia, bust 1 real, Charles IV, 1804JJ, very rare. Lightly toned VF+, no problems. Pedigreed to the Cayón auction of April, 2002 (lot 852). Jorge Ortiz Murias collection of Colombian colonial minors."
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 3.38 g, .896 silver, .097 troy oz ASW, this specimen 3.2 grams.
