Colombia 1810-P JF real

This specimen is one of a type struck at Popayán during the reign of Ferdinand VII using the bust of the previous king, Charles IV. In fact, Ferdinand's portrait does not appear on any product of the Colombian mints (Popayán and Nuevo Reino). Popayán minted this type 1810 and 1813 only. While the 1813 is very rare, the 1810 appears from time to time and often well struck and in nice condition, like this specimen.
