This specimen was lot 22368 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 100 Yuan, 2015. Panda Series. NGC MS-70. Proof-like and brilliant. No spots, tone, or fog." The one ounce panda was raised from 100 yuan to 500 yuan in 2000 and all the fractional pandas were raised proportionately. In 2016, the panda was "metricated" from 31.1 g to 30 g. The SCWC has not updated its listings of pandas since 2012.
