This specimen was lot 74337 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $930. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Silver 300 Yuan (Kilo), 2010. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Impressively large, crisply executed, and a perfect state of preservation. In attractive wooden case, albeit with one loose hinge." The Chinese government has, since the mid 1980's, produced a mind boggling array of bullion related collectibles. The panda was issued in many sizes and metals. Other 300 yuan for 2010 included KM 1919 (year of the tiger) and KM 1950 (grotto art).
