This specimen was lot 51409 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $3,120. The catalog description[1] noted,
"CHINA. 300 Yuan, 2010. Lunar Series, Year of the Tiger. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. A brilliant 1 Kilo silver Proof with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices."
The Chinese government has, since the mid 1980's, produced a mind boggling array of bullion related collectibles. The Year of the Tiger NCLT was issued in many sizes and metals.
Recorded mintage: 3,800.
Specification: 1 kg, 0.999 fine silver, 100 mm diameter.
