This specimen was lot 51420 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 50 Yuan (3 Tael), 1998. Guanyin, Goddess of Mercy. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Qian Shou. Quite intricate and elegant, this seldom-encountered type presents great frosting with intense brilliance and no spotting or haze. Includes original certificate of authenticity, with the serial number 00027."
