This specimen was lot 1338 in Aureo y Calicó sale 423 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 480 € (about US$622 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Enrique III (1390-1406). Seville. Real. Nice. Ex Aureo 07/01/1999, no. 248. Scarce in this condition. EBC [extremely fine]." Henry III (1379-1406) was king of Castile from 1390 and died in Toledo at the age of 27. His younger brother was Ferdinand I of Aragon (not the one who married Isabella).
