This specimen was lot 112 in Aureo y Calicó sale 448 (Barcelona, March 2025), where it sold for 1,600 € (about US$2,090 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Enrique III (1390-1406). Burgos. Half real. Obv.: EN crowned. +DOMNVS:MIChI:ADIVTOR. Rev.: Castle, B below. +ENRICVS:DEI:GRACIA:R. Encapsulated. Very rare. EBC- [about extremely fine]. Ex Elariz Collection." Henry III (1379-1406) was king of Castile from 1390 and died in Toledo at the age of 27. His younger brother was Ferdinand I of Aragon (not the one who married Isabella). Cayón lists only the Seville mint for this denomination.
