This specimen was lot 33720 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $2,160. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada: Elizabeth II gold Proof 200 Dollars 2014 PR69 Deep Cameo PCGS. A practically perfect proof dripping with golden resplendent glory and a scant mintage...." The profits extracted from the manufacture and sale of NCLT's caused the Royal Canadian Mint to scramble for ever more arcane topics, including this series of 2014 honoring Canadian wildlife. This coin did not have a KM number when it was sold but it is listed in the current edition.
Recorded mintage: 350.
Specification: 31.16 g, 0.999 fine gold, 30 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM 1480.
